小兽狂奔。穿过雨林和沙漠,看见彩虹,这次没有停下来。它想知道自己到底是只什么动物，听说平静的湖面可以让它看清自己。它不断奔跑，寻找一面平静的湖水。暴雨如注，它看到很多水珠，也看到积水，都是不停跳跃的，被雨水打皱。 

全身都湿透了，小兽却兴奋起来。感觉自己像一只豹子那样矫捷，拥有完美的线条；又感觉自己像孤独的麋鹿，带着忧郁清淡的眼神。小兽想自己是什么，就感觉是什么。夜色浓黑，月亮出来的时候，它成为一条狼。 

抬起头，想对天空长啸，看到一个平静的月亮。不会被雨水打皱的平静。瞬间巨大的安宁和慈悲，让它流下泪水。湖水，就在眼睛里。 

今天小兽醒来的时候，发觉时间多了一小时。它看了眼地上的大蜘蛛，还是关在透明的锅盖里。小兽其实很胆小，不知道该拿它怎么办。

阳光很好，在冬天到来前。又是一个将至的冬天。

小兽说这次不冬眠。
